Highland Oaks Park
This is an unincorporated little neighborhood park with great views and interest to paint. No water, cover or restroom, but worth a prepared trip up there.
Travel west on 18th, left at Hawkins, in about 1/2 mile, left on Highland Oaks, to a cul de sac, plenty of parking and an easy hill to climb for great views.

3rd Annual Paintout and Potluck at Victoria's
Bring your paint and some food to share and stay awhile!
Directions: From 33rd and Hilyard, go LEFT onto E Amazon. Travel south on E Amazon to Dillard Rd. (Dillard Rd is to the L of a deer sign on the R) turn LEFT (the only way to go) on Dillard RD.. Travel up Dillard Rd. about 2.3mi to Teague Loop (Teaque Loop is R, just opposite a hugh sign on the L that says 'Dillard Highlands') turn RIGHT onto Teague Loop. Halfway down the loop, take the first gravel driveway to the RIGHT (there is a wooden sign 'Teamwork for Children'). Proceed 300ft downhill, take first driveway on LEFT (85444Teague Loop), that is the driveway, 1/4 mi to house. carpooling is an option. (I live about a mile and a half up from the the Alpaca Farm and accross the road from Ridgetop Drive)

We are on 5 acres. The land includes a small woods, a labyrinth, gardens, and lots of grass. We encourage a walk on the labyrinth before starting to paint, because it brings blood pressure down and calms the soul.
The house will be open. We have 5 toilets, well water, and plenty of ice.
From East Amazon you turn left on Dillard. Go up about 2 miles. Turn left on Eagles Aerie/Ridgetop. Follow the road around and down. Go to 85080 Ridgetop (there is a mailbox with a landscape painted on it). Park in the driveway (pulling to the side) or on the street. Lost, call 687-2669.
