Sunny Eugene Paintouts - February 2008

Sunny Eugene provided a perfect day to paint on the banks of the Willamette River at EWEB Plaza. Bets and Cathy were first to arrive and well on their way to nice paintings by the time I got there.

Here is Bets painting, "partially finished" according to Bets.

Cathy is painting in the shade on this sunny day.

Coda was enjoying the shade too.

Not Mara, it was sun for her.

Renee and Bets discuss the monoprint technique that Renee is using.

Renee and one of her beautiful monoprints. Monoprints made with watercolor paint...amazing.

Sally is just getting started.

Sally and Mara and Coda...note Sally's beautiful easel.

Victoria starting her painting at EWEB.

Nancy painted the old flour mill from the Jefferson-Washington Park.

Standing on the railroad overpass we had a view of Skinner Butte with old industrial Eugene in the foreground.

A Train surprised us with an ear splitting whistle.

One of the daily reviews at the coast.
